There aren't many pieces in this one. It is full though. It could keep a child busy for a while. It comes with the boat, a shark, 2 minifigures, fishing rod and fish, and is a pretty decent size for a child to use their imagination with. Recommend as a great Lego starter set for a child or as a gift. Very easy to build. Some different pieces with the boat. The shark is different slightly from older versions of the Lego shark. The jaw shuts tight. Also the life preservers are different and newer than what is shown in the picture which is pretty cool. They are square and more realistic looking. I've never really had that happen to me on any Lego set in the past.

My son loves his lego, and this item doesn't disappoint. He is 6 and built it himself, except for the assembly of the fishing rod which needs adult help to tie a knot etc. The figures and other extras make it interesting and it floats with ease. Recommended. 

My 4 year old love this boat. It was easy to build and the only thing he needed help with in assembeling the boat was the stickers and tieing the fishing rope. But the realy great thing about this boat is that it floats so it has been tested in the bathtub, suprisingly it floats better than som other non lego bathtub boats we have. Great value.

Very cool boat and it floats in water.I bought this for my sons Christmas present and he loves it. The boat spends most of the time in the bath, and the stickers on the side of the boat are still intact.A great fun toy. He now has quite a collection of the City and no doubt will have more for Christmas. i bought this for my sons 5th birthday, he loves it! As always with lego its very detailed & great for the imagination. This little fishing boat does actually float in water too!

My 7 year old was able to build this very quickly with no errors. He needed help to get the stickers on straight and to tie the fishing rod string. He has enjoyed playing with it and changing the design a little bit. 4 Year old has played with the boat also with very little damage.

We got this boat for my five year old son, and he loves it! It really floats, which, of course, we tested as soon as it was assembled! 

He had wanted it some time back. He just turned 6 yrs old and wanted this to add to so many other lego kits we have gotten him. He had it built in a couple of hours.  

5 yr old is lego crazy and he loves this one. you can take it in the water which is even cooler. i think you can, we have lol. 

I work with my grandson building a city with Lego. He enjoys and I keep my brain simulated. Lots of fun & quality time together.  

My 8 yo son assembled this himself, and plays with it. Stays together nicely. Love thes kind of sets that can actually actively play/use it. 

My grandson liked this fishing boat very much. He has a collection of them and said this plane had some challenging pieces, and he liked assembling it.  

I'm re-discovering LEGOs. The boat, minifigs and accessories were great for the price. There was an extra fishing pole, a shark , and a fish. I bought it mainly for the accessories because my LEGO Scout needed it.
